Posting this again just to say that this image will be part of an exhibition in the Scottish Embassy in Brussels over the next few months.
It’s pretty cool to think of one of my photos being on the wall in such an odd and distant location alongside some excellent images.
A few more photos from my shoot with Pierre.
despite all the difficulty involved, the stress, the worry, etc. I’m actually really excited to start work on my graded unit project. If I can pull it off the way I want to I think it’ll be the best piece of work I’ve done yet and it’ll be something completely different for me.
A little video I made.
Today I went to take some photos and pick up some stuff for a college brief centering around Scottish food. I went to the Ardardan farm shop near Helensburgh. It’s a pretty cool place and the food there is really nice. The staff were friendly about me taking photos which was great. Even though it was a bit drizzly, I had fun wandering around taking photos of the animals. We had to get a bit muddy to get up close to the cows but they were a friendly bunch. All in all a pretty good day.
This makes me happy.
Glasgow Print Studio
For my corporate class I had to shoot some photos for a business in a corporate style (including portraits, architectural and product shots). A week or so ago I went into Glasgow and asked some places and one of the places which said yes was the Glasgow Print Studio. I decided to shoot there since they seemed most friendly and their spaces are really interesting. I actually enjoyed shooting the images, though I was a little nervous, and I’m surprised by how pleased I am with the results. I’ve had some positive feedback on them and it was a really positive experience of interacting with a client and working towards a goal beyond that of simply being happy with my own images.
