Scott Avenue / Bowling
I grew up in 6 Scott Avenue and my mum now lives in 12 Scott Avenue. It feels strange to go back there now, like I’ve been gone for a lifetime.

I liked the concept behind this work but I wasn’t really convinced by the end result.
For some reason instead of photography I’ve been doing a lot of writing lately, I’m sort of putting togeher a short story and I’d quite like to make a publication soon with a few people contributing. I don’t what has put me in the mood to write but I’m just going to run with it because otherwise I’d do nothing.
Took this on the train to Edinburgh on Sunday. Went to see Haruki Murakami talk at the Edinburgh Book Festival. It was really interesting to hear him talk, he works incredibly hard at what he does but at the same time it seems to just come to him naturally, his talent seems to be just calmly allowing himself to do what he does best. I need to figure out how to do that. After the talk I went for some beers with friends and it was a really relaxed night.
This man is leaving to take his wondeful art to Sweden for a few months and this photo is all I have to remember him by.
